† This journal mostly is friends only.

† Comment on this post if you would like to be added to my friends list.

† Don't add me for the sake of making your list bigger, it really irritates me. I like to interact

† This is my journal, I can write whichever I please in it. If you don't like what I have written, then that is fine, but please don't flame me for my views or opinions. I don't mind a difference in opinion, as long as it is gone about in a nice calm manner.

† I mostly post about everyday life, and RL, as well as thoughts and musings. My fandoms and interests vary quite a bit, but are listed on my profile page :)

† I love meeting new people so don't be afraid to comment, I don't bite....

Tried the "Milk Flavoured chips" from one of my Tokyo Treat boxes. I wouldn't really say that they tasted like milk.. Not really sure how I would describe the taste. It wasn't bad, but it also isn't my favourite either. These chips do have calcium in them, like milk.

Also tried the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte that they brought out for Autumn. It was delicious! I wan't another one now haha.

Well I am reading my book called "Mysteries of the Unexplained" It is full of different stories of ghosts and stuff like that. In the coincidences section there is this story about this unfortunate bride, a interesting one, yet quite sad. Here it is

The Unfortunate Bride

The wedding day of Princess Maria del Pozzo della Cisterna, who married Amadeo, the Duke D'Aosta, the son of the King of Italy, in Turin on May 30, 1876, was marred by these events:

† Her wardrobe mistress hanged herself
†The palace gatekeeper cut his throat
†The colonel leading the wedding procession collapsed from sunstroke
† The stationmaster was crushed to death under the wheels of the honeymoon train
† The King's aid was killed by a fall from his horse
† The best man shot himself

The couple did not live happily ever after.

And that is the story for you, it is all true. Hmm... maybe they didn't want the couple to get married??
Also you would think that the stationmaster of all ppl would know not to stand on the tracks >.>

🍁 Crunchy leaves: What's your favorite noise/sound to hear?

I listen to ASMR to go to sleep and I love the sound of brushing hair, or pages turning. The sounds of the brush bristles moving through hair, or massaging the scalp gives me tingles, and relaxes me quite a bit.
Outside of ASMR, I love the sound of wood crackling in a fire, slowly creaking doors.

Misty mornings: What time do you wake up? What for?

I usually wake up between 6-8 AM. That's the time that I naturally wake up. Although I find on days I actually have to be up at that time to be somewhere, it's harder haha. Days where I don't have to do anything, it's not hard at all.

👕 Oversized sweaters: What sweater weather outfit are you looking forward to wearing?

I love big baggy sweaters. Anything that's comfortable. I can't stand tight clothing with elastics, they drive me insane. The problem for me is finding something loose and comfortable, that still looks nice.

🎃 Carved pumpkins: What holidays (popular or Pagan) are you celebrating this Fall?

Halloween!!

👻 Ghost stories: What books are you reading, how are they?

I'm currently re reading Battle Royale by Koushun Takami after 10 years. It's still really good, but I find my opinion and views of the characters have changed now that I've gotten older.

Hot coffee: What's your drink this Fall?

I don't have a specific drink for a specific season. I drink the same things year round.

👐 Cold hands: Anyone to hold them?

No, but I have dogs to warm them up.

💀 Spooky shadows: Any increased spiritual activity?

Nope, none that I know of.

🍎 Apple pie: What's cooking? (Or planned to cook?)

Nothing really. I don't cook too much. Mostly I'll cook rice or spaghetti

🔥 Scented candles: 5 favourite smells
1. Newsprint
2. Gasoline
3. Campfires
4. Smudging Sage
5. Patchouli

Hurricanes: What do you do on rainy days?

Sit around inside, play video games, watch movies, read.

🌱 Cinnamon: What are your favorite spices?

I don't really have any favourites, since I don't eat spicy food, or put spice in food too much.

🍂 Haunted hayrides: Do you see your friends over the summer or do you have to wait till fall?

I see what few friends I have in Real Life, throughout the year. I don't really have to wait to see them.

👺 Monster masks: What's your makeup/morning routine?

Really not too much of a morning routine. I rarely, if ever wear make up, I don't see the need for it, but I do have it. I mostly just get out of bed, shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, fix my hair, and that's that.

🐱 Black cat: What pets do you have/want?

3 dogs , 2 rats, 1 hamster , 4 beta fish, 1 bearded dragon.
It's crazy.
When they all die, or I get into a better situation, I'd like a little teacup pig.

Someone keeps setting off fireworks near the house late at night throughout the summer. I can't figure out where or who.
It's not nice to set them off where I can't see them :p

I finished reading The Girl On the Train I really liked it. I wasn't able to figure it out until the last few chapters and pages when the book revealed it itself, rather than me being able to figure it out around the middle. I like how it goes between three different characters, and their points of view.

The weather is so depressing today, cloudy, damp, rainy, but not quite raining. I find it so hard to get up on these days, and actually stay awake, let alone leave the house and go to work.

I've been trying to declutter again, and came across a 30 day decluttering challenge, which I plan to start in July.

Here is an interesting video of urban legends I watched. I was really into Japanese culture and Japan in general when I was younger, so some of these stories I've heard. I love that they have included Himuro Mansion, which is what the first Fatal Frame game is based off of.

Looking at a very old book from the early 19'00s with Sheilagh. Its really neat, a very old cook book, bound together with a bible page. Someone seems to have used it as a bit of a diary/journal, they wrote a bunch of random and funny things in it. Mostly dates of when ppl died and when they were born.

They always wrote dates, and years. The earliest year written is 1906. Oddly I couldn't find any mention of the Titanic. There is some references to the war, listing people who died in action.

"We traded Daisy for Jip with Mr. Chase the 25 of April 1914 & Jip was 4 years old"

"Rev Mr. Wallace left this circuit July 2 1914"

"Bert Mortson accidently shot and died the 15 day Febuary 1913"
" We bought our new clock the 15 Feb 1913"

"Clinton got his glasses the 13 day of April 1912 someday I want to see Dr.G"

"Gill had that bad break with his engine the 1st of January 1916"

"We bought our old mare March 24 1917"

"Got the young mare in the winter of 1917 3 years old"

Those are just some of the things written in it. From what all is written we took a guess on teh location this person was. Somewhere near Bellville Ontario.

When we read about Bert being shot we sat there laughing until we had tears in our eyes for a good 5 minutes. Then noticed after that, on the same day they wrote that they got a new clock XDD
