The Unfortunate Bride

Well I am reading my book called "Mysteries of the Unexplained" It is full of different stories of ghosts and stuff like that. In the coincidences section there is this story about this unfortunate bride, a interesting one, yet quite sad. Here it is

The Unfortunate Bride

The wedding day of Princess Maria del Pozzo della Cisterna, who married Amadeo, the Duke D'Aosta, the son of the King of Italy, in Turin on May 30, 1876, was marred by these events:

† Her wardrobe mistress hanged herself
†The palace gatekeeper cut his throat
†The colonel leading the wedding procession collapsed from sunstroke
† The stationmaster was crushed to death under the wheels of the honeymoon train
† The King's aid was killed by a fall from his horse
† The best man shot himself

The couple did not live happily ever after.

And that is the story for you, it is all true. Hmm... maybe they didn't want the couple to get married??
Also you would think that the stationmaster of all ppl would know not to stand on the tracks >.>

How are all these people not moving and getting crushed??
That's what I want to know lol.
Did they fall off the wagons and get caught in them?

no, they walked almost the whole way to oregon. Very little riding in wagons, as those were for possessions that couldn't walk . I don't know how they all managed to get squished, but apparently it wasn't even uncommon.
